Last updated September 14, 2026

Officiora is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently. This policy explains our practices when you use officiora.com, create an account, participate in the marketplace or community, submit verification information, purchase products or services, or communicate with us.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including account and contact details, buyer and professional profile information, professional background and credentials, identity and U.S.-residence verification evidence, marketplace listings, messages, community activity, support requests, transaction records and subscription selections. We also receive technical and security information such as device, browser, IP address, timestamps, authentication events and activity needed to operate and protect the service.

Payments and subscriptions

Stripe processes payment-card and related payment information for purchases, subscriptions, refunds and professional payouts. Officiora receives transaction identifiers, payment status, amounts, customer and connected-account references, and other records needed for fulfillment, accounting, fraud prevention and support. Officiora does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers from Stripe Checkout.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; verify eligibility, identity, residence, credentials and professional claims; review products; process purchases, subscriptions, refunds and payouts; deliver files and services; support messaging, consultations and community features; provide support; enforce marketplace standards; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain records; improve Officiora; and comply with legal obligations.

How we disclose information

We disclose information to service providers that support hosting, databases, authentication, storage, payments, email, security and operations; to buyers or professionals when needed to complete a marketplace interaction; to advisers, authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention or enforcement; and in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization or transfer of the business. Service providers may use information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their applicable terms.

Verification evidence

Identity, credential and residence evidence is used for trust, safety and eligibility review and is not displayed publicly. Public profiles may show an appropriate verification status and professional information. Access to verification evidence is restricted to authorized operational use, and retention is limited to what is reasonably necessary for review, dispute, fraud-prevention, legal and recordkeeping purposes.

Cookies and similar technology

Officiora uses cookies and comparable browser storage that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences and core service operation. As currently operated, Officiora does not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide controls required by applicable law.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including account operation, transaction and tax records, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, enforcement and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type. We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may update available account information, manage communications, or request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required for transactions, security, disputes, legal obligations or legitimate operational needs. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights to access, correct, delete, obtain or appeal decisions concerning personal information.

International use

Officiora is operated from the United States. If you access the service from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

Children

Officiora is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Officiora, applicable law or our service providers change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
